On February 26th, PRW held a luncheon for 12 of Boston’s top estate planning attorneys. Our luncheons provide an educational environment to foster growth for the attendees and to help enhance their individual legal practices. We connect thought leaders with thought leaders. Held at Del Frisco’s on Boston Harbor, our luncheons feature experts on current topics and trends with content that is thought-provoking, stimulating and beneficial to the members of the audience and their clients.
Our recent luncheon featured Tom Rogerson, a recognized leader and pioneer in Family Governance. For more than 3 decades, Tom has helped families and their advisors transition significant capital, both financial and human, from one generation to the next. Tom is an international speaker and we were very fortunate to be able to offer his expertise to the luncheon attendees.

Anthony Amore, a security and terrorism expert, investigator and New York Times best-selling author. With a background in homeland and cultural property security, Anthony is responsible for security at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and for recovering the works of art stolen in the largest property crime in US History. Anthony spoke on security challenges and solutions and updated the group on the art theft investigation.
Dr. David Dosa, a practicing geriatrician, professor of medicine, health services researcher and expert on dementia (Alzheimer’s), nursing home and end-of-life care. An international best-selling author, Dr. Dosa wrote Making Rounds With Oscar about the nursing home’s cat who could tell when a patient was about to pass. Dr. Dosa shared his expertise and guidance on the pending Silver Tsunami, including what the future holds for the 5.5 million Americans currently suffering from dementia; his advice for coping when a family member is diagnosed; and how families can and should discuss end-of-life care options and preferences.
FBI Special Agent J.R. Manes, one of the FBI’s top cybersecurity experts. He is a member of the FBI Cyber Action Team, a global rapid response fly-team that deploys to critical cyber incidents on behalf of the United States. Special Agent Maines shared current trends in cybersecurity and how the FBI identifies, investigates and combats threats and hacks. He provided recommendations for managing cyber risk and effectively mitigating, defending and recovering from cyberattack.
Dr. John Samuels is a luminary in the field of “total care” or concierge health and an expert on navigating the overwhelming challenges to obtaining quality health care and treatment. Dr. Samuels shared the framework for superior care, from getting the right doctors’ appointments to navigating the intricacies and bureaucracies of insurance and all the steps in between.
Our next speaker luncheon will be in June and features Dr. Carrie Wilkens. She is a nationally known addiction expert and has developed a new method of addiction treatment.
