Ted Dziuba, Director of Life Insurance Planning at PRW Wealth Management, was recently inducted into the Babson College Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2015 during a ceremony at the Babson Executive Conference Center (BECC) on Saturday, April 11th.
A two-year captain of the Babson College Baseball team, Dziuba ’06 put together one of the greatest careers in school history. A three-time All-New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) honoree, he hit .359 in 154 career games and is first in home runs (28), doubles (49), runs batted in (151), runs scored (141), total bases (326), walks (104), and slugging percentage (.626). Dziuba also ranks fourth all-time with 187 career hits and was a three-time New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA) selection while helping the Beavers to 84 victories and the program’s first NCAA Tournament berth in 2004.
Dziuba, who was selected by the New York Mets in the 33rd round of the 2006 MLB Amateur Draft, became the third player in school history to play professional baseball.
With his enshrinement, Ted joins PRW Principal and Co-Founder Richard Renwick ’79 in their alma mater’s hall of fame, having been inducted in 1993 following a standout career in which he was also drafted by a major league team, selected in the 35th round by the Chicago Cubs.
